The Region 1 Combine will be part tournament, part exhibition, and part showcase for General Managers to evaluate the skill and character of competitors in advance of the first official CGS Draft.

The first draft in gaming history is set to take place immediately following the Combine.
Each drafted player will receive a CGS contract for a base salary of $30,000 annually and also be eligible for performance bonuses which could bring total annual compensation to more than 100k. Read More |

The road to the Region 1 Official Draft at the Playboy Mansion began with live and online qualifying tournaments where players throughout the region battled it out to qualify for the Region 1 Combine. Winners from Buy.com LAN, the Live qualifier at The Bridge, and four online tournaments receive preferential seeding in the tournaments and will be supplemented by a limited number of walk on registrants.

 Drafted CGS Players will be flown to LA this Summer with their teammates to compete in the 2007 CGS Regular Season which will be aired exclusively on DIRECTV’s ‘The 101’ later this year.
